Description
Our bevelled rails are the professional’s choice when creating a horizontal back bone for close-board and feather-edge fencing. Unlike standard square-cut rails, these are specifically machined with a sloped upper edge providing maximum strength and superior performance in wet climates.
Simply nail or screw these fence rails to our wooden fence posts to form a perfect boundary fence. Make sure the slope of the rail takes any rainwater away from your boards.
The primary purpose of a bevelled rail is water management. In a standard fence, water often sits on the flat top of a square rail, eventually soaking into the wood and causing rot. The angled top ensures that rainwater runs off immediately. This significantly extends the lifespan of both the rail itself and the vertical fence boards attached to it.
All our timber are pressure treated to prevent insect attack and fungal decay.
