Our stanless steel base plates are designed to bolt onto concrete and act as an anchor for heavy duty posts used in the construction of our pergolas and timber structures. We precicesly splice our posts so that they slide down onto this base plate and are securely bolted on. This system provides the ultimate stability but also ensures the post is not in contact with the ground or any associated moisture. Maximising the longevity of our products. This system has also been used with our premium mortised fence range as an alternative to concreting the post in the ground.
